[WCR-G54] How to Configure DMZ |
Buffalo WCR-G54 does not support port forwarding function.
If you want to allow incoming connection from the Internet to your server (or NAS, IP Camera, etc) in your network, you must use the DMZ function
1. Open http://192.168.11.1 in Internet Explorer, login with username "root", and by default no password

2. Choose "LAN Config" -> "DMZ", enter the
internal IP address of your server in "IP Address of DMZ" box, then press "Apply"

3. From now on, others can access your server by using the WAN/Internet IP address.
Note: Some Internet service provider blocks some ports, for example PCCW Netvigator blocks TCP 80 that is used by web server, if you are using PCCW broadband service and want to host a web server, you will need to check if your web server can be changed to use another port
Note: Please check the firewall and anti-virus installed on your server, improper firewall setting may block incoming connections, results your server cannot be accessed from the Internet
Note: Buffalo WCR-G54 does not support NAT Loopback, in your local network, you cannot use the Internet IP address to access the port mapped server, please use internal IP address (192.168.11.xxx) instead
